Friedkins Everton splash out 10 potential signings for this summer
David Moyes welcomed nine new arrivals to Everton last summer, but the January transfer window brought far less activity for the Toffees.
Several players could leave the club when the season ends, including Michael Keane, whose contract is set to expire this summer despite his desire to remain on Merseyside.
Alongside possible free-agent exits, Everton are also expected to strengthen the squad, particularly in attack, as neither of Moyes’ current strikers has firmly secured the starting role.
Following the closure of the winter transfer window last month, Everton supporters have been sharing their thoughts on potential summer targets through TalkingPoints.
Everton supporters debate summer transfer options
With Tottenham Hotspur currently struggling in their fight to maintain Premier League status, some fans believe Richarlison could look to leave Spurs in the summer.
That possibility has sparked talk of a return to Everton for the Brazilian forward. One fan commented: “He’s exactly the type of player who would suit David Moyes’ style.”
Another supporter added: “We should have brought him back in January. He’s an experienced Premier League striker who would actually want to play for Everton and knows how to score — it would have been an obvious move.”
Signing a new striker is expected to be a major priority for the Blues. According to Everton News, Moyes had already hoped to add a forward during the January window.
Brentford striker Ivan Toney is another name many Everton fans would love to see arrive at Goodison Park this summer.
One supporter wrote: “Offer Toney big money to come in and score 15+ goals for us. That’s what we need if we want to push back into the league and Europe.”
Another fan was even more direct, saying: “Toney every day of the week.”
However, strengthening the attack is not the only concern ahead of the summer transfer window.
Moyes has previously acknowledged that the club have been searching for a new right-back since his return more than a year ago.
With Vitalii Mykolenko and Jake O’Brien producing just one assist between them all season, some supporters believe improvements out wide are essential.
One fan commented: “Two proper wing-backs would completely change the team and give our play a whole new dimension.”
Amid rumours linking Everton with Arsenal defender Ben White, another supporter said: “He would be a fantastic signing, similar to the impact Grealish and Dewsbury-Hall had.”
White could provide a natural option at right-back, especially after O’Brien spent much of the season playing out of position under Moyes.
A crucial summer ahead for Everton
European qualification remains a realistic goal for Everton this season, but achieving it will likely require significant squad improvements in the upcoming transfer window.
The Friedkin Group have reportedly assured Moyes of their financial support ahead of what could become a defining summer for the club.
Now, after seeing some of the names linked with Everton, supporters are being encouraged to join the discussion on TalkingPoints and share their views on which players the Blues should sign next. ⚽🔵
